Connection to the power grid process for real estate developers

The first step in connecting to power grid is to submit a connection request to us, the distribution operator. Download the request form below and complete it.

Then, you can submit it online after creating an account on our website. If you don’t have an account yet, create one to go through the connection process easily.

We evaluate the documentation and will respond within a maximum of ten working days. You will receive a notification in your online account.

We determine the technical connection solution (installation route and required materials).

Once the connection solution is established, we will return with a contract proposal for constructing the public interest electrical network within a maximum of 45 calendar days. This will also include cost details. If additional documents are needed, we will inform you, and you will have two months to respond and submit the requested documents. The contract proposal remains valid for two months.

You sign the contract and submit it online from your account.

Your energy distributor (us) or an ANRE-accredited company, depending on your choice, will carry out the design and execution of the connection works.

If you choose to work with another company, we will adjust the contract proposal based on your negotiation with that company.

We will finalize the connection contract only after receiving the construction authorization for your real estate project.

After signing the contract, we will issue an invoice for the connection costs.

After completing the works, we verify their quality and commission the electrical network.

We estimate a certain cost for the design and execution of the works. If, at the end of the connection process, the actual cost is lower, we will refund the remaining unspent amount.

At this stage, you will recover a portion (called the “efficiency quota”) of the total connection costs for the real estate complex. We, as the distributor, calculate the efficiency quota, and after you sell at least 80% of the homes or office spaces in the complex, you can submit a request to us for reimbursement. We will make the payment within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the request submission.

As a real estate developer, you will request individual connection approvals for all homes or office spaces in the complex. You will also need to submit the usage installation files (UIF) for each unit.

We will then issue connection certificates for each unit, and you will sign supply contracts for all units with your chosen supplier. Afterward, we will install meters for each unit in the complex. The property owners will be able to change their electricity supplier at any time.
