The Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM)

The Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM) was developed to respond to Romania’s development needs, as identified in the Partnership Agreement 2014-2020 and in accordance with the Common Strategic Framework and the European Commission’s Service Position Paper.

The projects we have underway can be found under Priority Axis 10 – Protecting the health of the population in the context of the sanitary crisis caused by COVID-19, increasing energy efficiency, and using renewable energy sources. Specific Objective 10.2 – Increasing energy efficiency and using renewable energy sources in order to prepare for a green, digital, and resilient economic recovery. The total amount allocated for the entire Axis 10 is €700,057,177.00, of which the EU funds (FEDR-REACT EU) represent €700,057,177.00.
