Our commitments

The health and safety of our employees and partners working in our facilities are priorities. We adhere to the Stop Work Policy: any risk situation must be reported immediately, and the activity must be stopped.

Our employees and collaborators are trained in health and safety through advanced programs and methods, such as Virtual Reality (VR) technology, which simulates work scenarios in safety procedures. The equipment and tools used in the field comply with health, safety, and quality standards. It is essential for us to guarantee a safe working environment.

We have adopted a culture of sustainable safety, where everyone plays an active role from an early age. For this reason, we organize school activities to teach students correct behaviors regarding electricity.

We pay attention to the environmental impact in the areas where we operate. We rely on circular economy principles and modern, non-polluting equipment and technologies. We assess risks, adopt impact reduction measures, and responsibly manage waste.

Environmental Management, implemented and certified since 2004, is part of the Integrated Management System – Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Energy. We act preventively and proactively. We protect biodiversity by building concrete-cast platforms for the temporary storage of equipment and waste, the modernization of the storage tanks for the substations, the replacement of overhead lines with underground cables, the replacement of classical conductor cables with twisted concrete cables, the mounting of electrically insulating shields on the medium and high voltage lines, the adoption of bird-friendly crowns for medium voltage poles, as well as the installation of special brackets (nests) on the low and high voltage lines in order to protect them.

We have participated in projects such as Danube Parks Connected and the monitoring of birds in the Văcărești Natural Park. We have planted trees in the Comana Forest, Ilfov, and in the Valea Dacilor Forest, Constanța County.

In partnership with the Wildlife Romania association, we installed, for the first time nationally, a live-streaming web camera on a high-voltage pole in Timiș to monitor a nest of the critically endangered saker falcon in Romania.

In our maintenance, repair, and modernization activities, we use equipment and materials that comply with quality and energy efficiency standards and are environmentally friendly. All equipment and materials that make up our electrical networks meet strict criteria in this regard. We have a system for objective control and evaluation of the quality and reliability of the components and materials we procure.

Our suppliers are rigorously evaluated through factory acceptance tests of the final product or material, audit practices during production phases, and specific tests of materials stored in our warehouses and/or those of the supplier.
