Discover the steps and procedures for connecting to the power grid if you plan to install photovoltaic panels with an installed capacity of ≤10.8 kW, greater than the absorbed power, on an existing house and want to obtain prosumer certification before completing the connection installation.
Submitting the connection to the power grid notification and issuing the ATR

1 calendar dayThe connection to the power grid process starts when you submit a connection notification (Appendix 5) to us, the distribution operator. Download the notification below, complete it, and submit it via your online account, which you will also use for the other steps in the connection process.
Reviewing the notification and verifying the documentation

7 working daysWe review the notification and submitted documents and will provide a response within a maximum of seven working days. Additionally, we inform you that the ATR will be issued within 15 days and that you will need to submit documents specific to your generation installation. You will receive our response in your online account.
If the documents are complete and correct, you will receive an invoice for the ATR. After payment, you will receive the ATR. Information about the costs related to issuing the ATR and connection can be found here. Payment instructions are included in the issued invoice. If the documents are incomplete or incorrect, you will receive a response with clarifications or necessary modifications.
Determining the connection to the power grid solution and issuing the ATR

15 working daysThe distribution operator determines the technical connection solution (route and necessary materials) within a maximum of 15 working days. These details will be included in the ATR, which you will receive after paying the invoice. If you are not satisfied with the proposed technical solution, you can contest the ATR within 30 calendar days. We will respond within a maximum of 30 calendar days.
Submitting the request to sign the connection to the power grid contract

After selecting your option, ensure you have paid the ATR invoice if you have not already done so. Once the ATR is obtained, download the request for signing the connection contract, complete it, and submit it via your online account.
Reviewing the request and sending the proposed connection to the power grid contract

Designing and wiring execution

During this step, additional documents or approvals may be required, which will be obtained by the contractor. The documents will be submitted online. After obtaining all approvals, the execution of your connection must be completed within a maximum of 90 calendar days.
Submitting the usage installation file

Inspection and commissioning of the connection to the power grid installation

5 working daysWe inspect the executed works, and if everything is in compliance, the connection to the power grid installation (the infrastructure outside your property up to the meter) will be commissioned.
Updating the connection to the power grid certificate

14 calendar daysAfter the generation installation is mounted and its documentation is submitted to us, we will update the connection certificate within a maximum of 14 days from the submission of the complete documentation and completion of the connection installation. The connection certificate confirms the presence of a new consumption and generation point in the network. Within the same 14-day period, we will replace the electricity meter.
Signing the supply contract

Energizing the usage installation

Reimbursement of costs for the design and wiring execution

30 calendar daysAt the end of the connection to the power grid process, we will adjust the costs based on the documents and expenses outlined in the ATR. If applicable, you will receive a partial refund according to the calculation formulas established by ANRE that we apply.
