Power supplementation with connection to the power grid installation modification

The first step in obtaining the power supplementation is to submit a request – either through your online account or physically at one of your electricity supplier’s offices.

You can find power supplementation requests here under the name “connection requests.” Make sure to check the “dezvoltarea unui utilizator existent” box when filling in the connection request. In addition to the power supplementation request, you must also submit other documents at this stage, which you can learn more about here.

We evaluate the request and submitted documentation and respond within a maximum of ten working days – either in your account (if you submitted the documents online) or through your supplier.

You will also receive the invoice for issuing the ATR. We will send the ATR after you pay this invoice. Information about the costs of issuing the ATR and connection can be found here. Follow the payment instructions on the invoice.

We, the distribution operator, establish the technical connection to the power grid solution (installation route and required materials) within a maximum of 30 working days and, based on this, determine the connection costs. These details will be included in the ATR, which we issue, but you will receive it only after paying the invoice from the previous step.

Once you obtain the ATR, you can contest it if, for example, the proposed connection solution does not seem suitable. You can do this by submitting a request online through your account or physically through the supplier within a maximum of 30 calendar days from receiving the ATR. You will receive our response within a maximum of 30 calendar days.

For the actual connection works to begin, you need to decide whether you will perform them with us, the distribution operator, or through a company certified by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE). The list of ANRE-certified companies can be found here.
Then, you will need to pay the invoice for issuing the ATR if you have not done so already. Once you have the ATR, download the request for signing the connection and design/execution contract from here. Complete it and send it to us either through your online account or through your supplier.

We will evaluate your request and return with the proposed connection to the power grid contract within a maximum of five working days.

You sign the connection contract received from us.

You pay the connection the power grid costs, which are included and detailed in the connection contract.

The distributor or the ANRE-certified company you selected will design and execute the connection works. At this stage, additional documents or permits for the works may be required, which will be obtained by the project executor. These documents/permits will reach us either through your online account or through your supplier. Once all permits are obtained, execution works will begin, which must be completed within a maximum of 90 calendar days. Create an online account.

A company certified by ANRE, chosen by you, prepares the usage installation file, which includes several necessary documents for the connection process to continue. You will pay a negotiated amount directly to the chosen company for preparing the file. The complete file must reach us – either through the online account, through your supplier, by email (to the address indicated in the ATR), or directly by uploading it here.

We verify the executed works, and if everything is in order, we commission the connection to the power grid installation (the installation outside your property up to the meter).

Within a maximum of three days after completing the previous step, we issue a new connection to the power grid certificate.

We will energize the user installation and reprogram the meter.

At the end of the connection to the power grid process, we will adjust the costs based on the expenses stated in the ATR and other documents submitted by the project executor. After cost adjustment, if applicable, we will reimburse you (directly or through the executor) part of the expenses incurred for the connection, based on a calculation formula established by ANRE.
