Measuring electricity consumption and production is an important service we offer our customers. If you are connected to the power grid we manage, we are responsible for ensuring the continuity of your power supply and fulfilling our duties related to measuring your consumption, such as periodically reading your meter or replacing it in case of a malfunction or the need for modernization.

All these services also facilitate the work of electricity suppliers, from which you receive invoices based on the offer you have chosen (free market) or the universal supply service (regulated market). You can find more details about the difference between electricity distribution and supply here.

POD: the unique code that identifies your consumption point

In our information systems, each consumption place has a unique identification code called POD (short for “Point of Delivery“). This unique code is automatically generated when a new metering place is activated, based on the technical grid connection approval, and remains valid for the entire lifespan of the connection installation. You can find it on your electricity bill from your supplier. If you live in one of the counties where our power grid is present, you can easily recognize the POD code on your bill, as it starts with RO00 (e.g., RO001E123456789).

POD

The POD code is an identification code for your electricity consumption point, as recorded in the distributor’s system. Its format varies depending on your electricity distributor. You can find the POD code on your electricity bill from your supplier.
