The general objective
of the project is to increase the security of electricity supply for consumers and ensure the technical conditions for integrating energy produced from renewable energy sources (RES) by reducing the limitations imposed on renewable energy producers under N-1 operational conditions and improving network management efficiency.
Total value
of the financing contract is 17,609,429.03 RON, of which the eligible amount funded through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020 is 14,062,943.82 RON (99.62% of the total approved eligible amount, respectively 14,117,384.72 RON).
This project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020, with a total duration of 39 months (01.10.2020 – 31.12.2023), aims to enhance the security of electricity supply for customers, producers, and consumers by reducing the number of large-scale failures and increasing the distribution network’s capacity to integrate more energy from renewable sources. The following components will be implemented:
Component C1
consists of the modernization of 4 substations: 3 modernized 110/6 kV power stations – Mircea Vodă, Medgidia Nord, Nazarcea – and 1 modernized 110 kV connection station – Mircea Vodă Nord.
Componenta C2
consists of the reconductoring of 14 km of segments from 4 110 kV overhead power lines.
