Project: “Modernization of L4205 and improvement of the quality of the distribution service in the Valu lui Traian and Murfatlar area, Constanța county”
Total value, including the financing percentage through the Modernization Fund:
The total project value is 52,320,289.59 RON, VAT included.
The maximum amount covered by the Modernization Fund is 80% of the eligible expenses, equivalent to 34,667,270.80 RON.
The amount covered by the beneficiary (RED) is 17,653,018.80 RON, VAT included.
Location and identification of each investment:
The proposed investment will be located in Constanța county.
The investment objective is situated throughout most of the areas of Murfatlar and Valu lui Traian, on public land, along roadways. The land where the works will be carried out belongs to the public domain of Murfatlar and Valu lui Traian. The localities of Murfatlar and Valu lui Traian are located in the central-eastern part of Constanța county, with Murfatlar being crossed by the Danube-Black Sea Canal.
Main project activities
The investment project consists of the following components:
Component C1:
Modernization of the MV line, departing from ST Basarabi.
Component C2:
Modernization, establishment, and reconfiguration of substations.
Component C3:
Integration of new PTAB units into the LV network.
Component C4:
Preparation for the introduction of new communication technologies for the digital remote monitoring and control system. Expansion of modernization by monitoring the LV network with quality analyzers.
Project objectives, aligned with those of the Modernization Fund:
- Modernization of the medium-voltage (MV) electrical line 4205, departing from the Basarabi power station (110kV/20kV). Modernization, establishment, and reconfiguration of the network (including substations).
- Expansion (reconfiguration) of the MV/LV distribution networks.
- Modernization, establishment, and reconfiguration of transformer stations.
- Integration of new PTAB units into the LV network.
- Preparation of the network for the introduction of new communication technologies for a digital remote monitoring and control system. Expansion of modernization by monitoring the LV network with quality analyzers.
These objectives contribute to improving the SAIDI and SAIFI indicators in the project’s area of applicability, aiming for a 25% reduction in these indicators over the monitoring period compared to the 2019-2021 average. Additionally, the project objectives contribute to a 15% reduction in CP.
