Rețele Electrice România strengthens the operational capacity of the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance through a donation of radio equipment

Bucharest – Rețele Electrice România, part of the PPC group in Romania, supports the medical and sanitary activity of the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service, offering 40 communication equipment (portable radio stations) to equip 40 ambulances.

This modern equipment will help improve the operational efficiency and safety of emergency medical interventions, facilitating faster and more accurate coordination between field crews and dispatchers. Portable radio stations are essential devices, without which communication between the medical crew and dispatcher is impossible. They have the role of facilitating communication with the coordinating doctor and dispatcher, about the patient’s condition, the seriousness of the situation on the ground, including the call for other equipment to support.

Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to the communities in which we operate and support the efforts of medical teams that intervene daily to save lives. Both Rețele Electrice România and the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service share the mission of rapid interventions in critical situations, with teams prepared to act promptly and efficiently. Effective communication is essential in emergency situations, and the new equipment comes to meet this critical need. This is just the first step, in a collaboration that we want to be long-lasting.

Mihai Pește, General Director of Reţele Electrice România.

The donation made by Reţele Electrice România, consisting of 40 TETRA Motorola portable radio stations, represents an important support for the modernization of the resources used in SABIF’s intervention activity. This equipment will directly contribute to reducing response times and consequently to increasing the quality of services provided to patients in critical situations. The support received from Reţele Electrice România is an example of social responsibility and community involvement, for which we are deeply grateful.
