The Cetate substation can take over, if necessary, the power supply of adjacent stations, serving a number of about 51,000 customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Cetate substation in Timi\u0219oara supplies electricity to a significant number of customers and essential institutions in the central area of the city, such as the Municipal Emergency Clinical Hospital; the Louis \u021aurcanu Children\u2019s Hospital; the Military Emergency Hospital. The signing of this project, supported by the Sustainable Development and Just Transition Program, reinforces our company\u2019s objectives of continuously developing the resilience of the distribution network through modernization works that allow us to adapt to the consumption needs brought about by the energy transition<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mihai Pe\u0219te, General Manager of Re\u021bele Electrice Romania<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main activities are aimed at modernizing and digitizing the electrical infrastructure of the substation, by replacing the 110 kV primary equipment with state-of-the-art ones, with a modern GIS technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The primary equipment for the 10 and 20 kV medium voltage busbars, as well as the neutral treatment groups, will also be replaced. The control room will also be modernized, and the network equipment will be integrated into the AADMS-SCADA automated distribution management system, which ensures centralized and automated network management, facilitating remote monitoring and operation, as well as performing quick maneuvers without the teams moving to the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The implementation period of the project is 39 months from the date of signing the financing contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company Re\u021bele Electrice Rom\u00e2nia operates networks with a total length of about 136.000 kilometers in three major areas of the country: Muntenia Sud (including Bucharest), Banat and Dobrogea, covering one third of the local distribution market, and develops an investment program to improve the quality of services, safety and performance of the networks and local implementation of the environmental standards of the PPC group.
