This is the largest electrical transformer substation in the region, at the interface with the National Energy System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Basarabi substation serves over 10,000 customers in the area of Constan\u021ba and the localities of Agigea, B\u0103r\u0103ganu, Cioc\u00e2rlia, Medgidia, Murfatlar, Poarta Alb\u0103, Topraisar and Valu lui Traian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The investment is meant to provide a better distribution service to customers in the Municipality of Constan\u021ba and nearby localities, as well as a better stability of the network in the area, as the Basarabi substation also ensures the distribution of important producers in the area, both from renewable sources and CET<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The works included in the tender provide for the electromechanical equipment of the substation, by completely replacing the primary and secondary equipment. 18 new 110 kV cells will be installed: 13 110 kV line cells, two 110 kV power transformer cells, one 110 kV combined coupled cell and two 110 kV metering cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two 110\/20 kV power transformers, each with a capacity of 25 MegaVolt-Amperes (MVA), as well as the neutral control and treatment equipment and the extinguishing coils, will also be replaced. The works will also include the reconfiguration of all high-voltage equipment, by switching them from an overhead power line configuration to a mixed power line configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new equipment will be introduced into the existing remote control system, which ensures remote monitoring and operation of the network and quick maneuvers without the teams moving in the field. Thus, the time of planned and unplanned outages will be significantly reduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to reduce the interruption times of the high voltage lines to the minimum possible during the works, the implementation of the investment will be phased, the technical solution allowing this approach, since there is space available inside the station for the relocation of all the cells as the works are carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, a system of photovoltaic panels will be implemented to cover a significant part of the own energy consumption of the equipment and the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deadline for submitting bids is 05.10.2026, and the works will last 36 months from the conclusion of the contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Re\u021bele Electrice Rom\u00e2nia assumes responsibility for environmental protection by applying a certified management system, which aims to reduce the impact of activities on the environment. The company responsibly manages the waste resulting from the electricity distribution activity, complying with the legislation in force and its own integrated system, ensuring its reuse, recovery or disposal through authorized economic operators. At all stages of the execution of the works, the legal requirements and applicable environmental standards will be complied with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u00a0<strong>Re\u021bele Electrice Rom\u00e2nia<\/strong>\u00a0operates networks with a total length of about 136.000 kilometers in three major areas of the country: Muntenia Sud (including Bucharest), Banat and Dobrogea, covering one third of the local distribution market, and develops an investment program to improve the quality of services, safety and performance of the networks and local implementation of the environmental standards of the PPC group. The electricity infrastructure operated by Re\u021bele Electrice Rom\u00e2nia includes 293 power stations and over 26.000 secondary substations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
