Bucharest<\/strong> \u2013 Re\u021bele Electrice Romania launched a public tender on the electronic public procurement platform SEAP, worth about 30 million lei (excluding VAT), for the modernization of the 110\/20 kV S\u00e2nnicolau Mare primary station in Timi\u0219 County, with the aim of increasing the reliability and resilience of the electricity distribution network for domestic or industrial customers in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This investment is essential for increasing the safety and continuity of the electricity supply to customers, by switching to the latest technological standards. The project is part of the extensive investment plan of Re\u021bele Electrice Romania, which aims to improve the reliability of the network and improve the quality indicators of the service offered to customers by modernizing the infrastructure<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The 110\/20 kV S\u00e2nnicolau Mare primary station was put into operation in 1971 and serves over 14.000 customers in the area surrounding the city of S\u00e2nnicolau Mare and the localities of Dude\u0219tii Vechi, Cenad, Saravale, V\u00e2lcani, S\u00e2npetru Mare and Beba Veche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The works included in this project will be carried out in stages, so that the electricity supply in the area is not affected. The main works will include the replacement of the high voltage (110 kV) and medium voltage (20kV) cells with new ones, the replacement of power transformers, the modernization of automation systems, the modernization and energy efficiency of the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selected contractors will have to comply with the rigorous safety standards of Re\u021bele Electrice Romania and ensure the implementation of environmental protection measures, maintaining a balance between the needs of infrastructure development and those of carrying out the works in compliance with safety and pollution prevention regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company Re\u021bele Electrice Romania<\/strong> operates networks with a total length of about 134.000 kilometers in three major areas of the country: Muntenia Sud (including Bucharest), Banat and Dobrogea, covering one third of the local distribution market, and develops an investment program to improve the quality of services, safety and performance of the networks and local implementation of the environmental standards of the PPC Group.
